An organisation where men of all ages can meet, work on projects, learn practical skills and socialise

About Us

A community facility located in the western suburbs (Kenmore ) catering to all men of all ages offering woodworking, wood turning, metalworking, computing skills, 500 card session, photography & many other sessions as required by our member base which currently stands at approx. 150 men who have various skills & are pleased to pass them on.

Morning Tea

Everyday to allow members to interact & form friendships over a tea or coffee & meet at a meeting room at the BCC Library at Kenmore Tuesday afternoon where we listen to a guest speaker (various topics) followed by afternoon tea & refreshments with more friendly conversations. On the 3rd Thursday of the month we meet at the shed facility for a relaxed BBQ.

Projects

Several community organizations appeal assistance from Shed West with projects making or renovating their equipment which we assist with if possible & of course members are encouraged to pursue projects of their own.

Meeting

Once a year (September) we have our AGM (annual general meeting) to elect our new committee members for the next 12 months. Members are encouraged to participate if possible.
